InDesign: Nudging and Aligning lines, boxes, images, etc

      I am experiencing an issues when I try and align lines, boxes, etc. Using the nudge arrows it moves items in the opposite direction and completely random. I can’t seem to get items to align. Is anyone having this same issue??? Help
