Multicolor gradient stroke

      Hi
      What’s the easiest way I can give a document a smooth multicolored gradient border, say 5 pt thick?
      Would be very grateful if you could help me out.

      I would create it in Illustrator and then place it in InDesign, scaling it to fit and, if necessary, putting it on its own layer behind all other layers.
