      Hello Everyone

I want to add a multi-state object to my InDesign CS5.5 document. The question I have is this: are objects in a multi-state object limited to images or can they be SWF, FLV or audio files as well?

      Thanks,

      Paul

      Hey Paul,

A multistate object can be anything you want inside an InDesign Layout. However, if you plan on using this layout for Adobe DPS you can not have any interactive elements. Therefore if you are planning on using it for DPS, stick to just a slideshow or popup window.

Many thanks for the response. My question actually originated from your Lynda.com module: InDesign CS5: Interactive Documents and Presentations. I won't be using Adobe DPS, it will just be a SWF file embedded either in Captivate or an HTML page.
