Multi level numbering problem when exporting to epub

      I have prepared an InDesign document with multi-level numbering which looks fine in my InDesign file but when I export to epub it changes from this

      1. Text….
      1.1 Text….
      1.2 Text…

      To this

      1. Text….
      1. Text…
      2. Text…

      It seems to have forgotten the number after the point.

      I have used styles and found the article by David Blatner about Multi-level Automatic Numbering in InDesign with the templates really useful, but I can’t solve this exporting problem.

      Please can anyone help?
