Mountain Lion Exporting to Pdf

      I'm a indesign newb & I'm having trouble exporting certain files to pdf. It seems to happen only for documents that are 8.5 x 11 or larger, anything 1/2 page or smaller exports just fine. I get the “Failed to Export PDF” message and nothing more. I just recently upgraded to Mountain Lion & feel like it may have something to do with that? Any suggestions please!
