Missing links as foo.jpg

      Can anyone explain how we get missing links called “foo.jpg”?

      We have been supplied with an inx from ID4 for us to use on CS3. The files that come up missing are supposedly located on C:/foo.jpg but aren't in the document package, but when the image selected with the direct selection tool, it is called another name. I have a document with 5 missing links of foo.jpg, but in the links pallette further down, there are the 5 files with actual name of the file. Please help.
