Missing Fonts (New User Question)

      Hello. I’ve been using InDesign for a college course, and my textbook gives me some exercises that involve fonts that my computer does not have. I got that iMac last Christmas, so I was initially very surprised the issue came up. The missing fonts thus far have been Garamond and Hobo Std Medium. Does anyone know where I can find these specific fonts without also downloading a virus. Thanks.

      I believe these fonts are available on Typekit – depending on your subscription. Font licencing can be quite a difficult path to navigate and sometimes expensive.
      I would check out on typekit first. There are plenty of sites where fonts can be downloaded for free but you would need to be careful that a licence to use them is not needed.

      Paul is correct, you will find those in the Typekit
