      I’ve been reading through the FANTASTIC Real World InDesign CC book. It truly is a great book!

      My issue, however, is on page 380, at the end of the “Drop Shadows” first paragraph, it says, ‘(see “Setting Defaults,” later in this section).’

      I’ve looked through the rest of the chapter, but maybe I’m just missing it. Where can I find “Setting Defaults” in the book?

      John, wow! You found a “bug”! I don’t recall anyone ever reporting that one before.

      I’m glad you’re enjoying the book, and I apologize for that mistake. I honestly don’t know why we would have referenced that. You can find a section on Setting Defaults in chapter 1, I think, where we explain how you can change the defaults for certain features by changing them while no documents are open.

      I asked because as I’m reading through the book, foolishly thinking I know InDesign pretty well, I keep seeing a bunch of small things I didn’t know(!). I didn’t want to assume that was what was referenced.
