I have the pro version of MindStream Spell checker for InDesign. It is a lot faster than the built-in spell checker that InDesign has and you can also print the words that come up which is what I need for the Editor.

The problem is that I typeset novels. And the character’s names are sometimes very unusual and they appear hundreds of times and so show up as hundreds of misspelled words when they aren’t. Is there a way to add words to the Dictionary so these names get ignored. As a note, I have it set up to use Hunspell. I’ve tried other settings, but it crashes my Indesign (2019) every time.

I’ve tried adding the words to my user dictionary, but Mindstream ignores these.

      Any suggestions?

      Thanks, Lucy
