Master pages in books

      I am producing a book in InDesign and want to assigned seperate master pages for left and right pages although the book is not being done in facing page spreads. Since it is perfect bound the printer has told me to set it up in single pages.

      How can I assign left and right pages in this format?

      You don't need to do any of this. You should work on facing pages.

      Then output single pages in the final pdf to send to the printer, who will then use imposition software to create the plates to print (that is not your job).
