      Hi everyone,

This is a straightforward question, something I've meant to ask for a long time now.

If for instance you are on page 320 of a document and you go into the Master page to adjust something, how do you get back to the page you were working on if you cannot remember which page it was?

In the old days when I used Quark, when you came out of the Master Page it took you back to the page you were last on. InDesign appears not to – unless I'm missing something …

Can anyone help me with this conundrum?

      Cheers in advance!

Command+Page Up should take you back to the last page you viewed. (Ctrl+Page Up on a PC).

      Hope this helps!

It's called “Back” in the Layout Menu (and after using that, it enables “Forward” as well). I use these all the time to jump around pages I recently “visited”.

That is exactly what I was looking for!

Thanks very much for your help – greatly appreciated – I can now work happily as before the issue this was something that always got on my nerves but not enough to find out how to exactly do it – until now.

      Cheers
