      Dear Collective Wisdom,

I'm working on a document that will be a publish-on-demand book. Now I'm trying to apply master page spreads to my file, and have run into a problem. When I drag my master page spread (2 pages) to the desired text pages, I can only get it to highlight one side of the text-page spread. I've noticed that none of my page icons are dog-eared. From what I can tell, that indicates that InDesign thinks they are all single pages, rather than facing pages. However, the icons are showing up as 2 pages side-by-side in the pages utility window, and in the document setup section “facing pages” is checked. Can anybody suggest what might be going on here?

TIA for any help you might be able to give.
