    I have a client who wants his book laid out with margin quotes (that is large outside margins wherein can be placed call-outs, quotes, comments, etc.). Simple enough to do in InDesign for a print layout. But can this be realized with a reflowable ePub? Or would it have to be exported as a fixed layout ePub?

    I think I understand what you are asking, but I’m pretty sure you are going to have to go with a fixed layout to have the outside margins your client is wanting.
