    Hi the problem I’m experiencing is with text, something seems to be pushing it away from other objects. I cannot figure out what setting could be turned on to make this happen.

    Things I’ve already tried:

    Making sure text wrap is set to “No text wrap”

    Exporting to an idml

    Anything else I can try?

    Problem solved.

    Align to grid was turned on.

    For what its worth, I finally figured it out by looking at my paragraph styles and seeing that it said [Basic Paragraph]+ so saved it as a style, then looked at the summary to see what attributes it had applied to it… when I saw “Alignment: Baseline” I knew that was probably the root of the problem. Good way to troubleshoot if you don’t already do it this way.
