I’m extremely new to InDesign and have 300 headshots to put into a program. There has to be an easy way to do this, right? The last program I created was in Publisher and only had 160 headshots. Of course, it took forever. I’m very familiar with Corel (no snarky comments, please, because I still love Corel), but I’m open and willing to learn something new.

What format are the photo’s in? Tiff, jpg, pdf, ?? If they would be in pdf format, use the “multipageimporter”, to be found over here:
https://creativepro.com/zanelli-releases-multipageimporter-for-importing-both-pdf-and-indd-files.php. This will give you one page with one photo. For several photos on the same page, use data merge.

gives you a good idea of what is possible.

This is a program for a dance recital, and all the pics are jpg. Guess I should have elaborated. The last program I did had 42 pics/page. The creativepro info makes sense to me – okay, I’ll have to read it a few more times to really get it – lots of paths for 300 photos! One way or another, it’s just a lot of work. In Publisher, though, everything was uploaded to the program and would sometimes shutdown my computer. Since these are links, it sounds like I shouldn’t have problems like that.
