Losing apostrophes when PDFing from InDesign CS4

      I'm new to CS4 havn't had this problem before – when I pdf from InDesign, I lose all apostrophes, accents etc.

      Doesn't matter whether it's press ready or smallest file size. Any ideas?

      What happens if you choose, for instance, PDF preset PDF/X-1a:2001?
