    Hello
    I have several document that I want to use the same ‘main’ master page which I’ve also created as a separate file. I know that you can load the ‘main’ master page into your other documents but is this a dynamic link or is it just a version of the ‘main’ master loaded into the document?

    – When i change the ‘main’ master page, will it update the other documents that use it?
    – In reverse, if I change the loaded paster page in one of my documents, will this alter the ‘main’ master page?

    If it’s not dynamic, how can i have one main master page that’s used on several other documents, but can be amended so that these amends flow through to the other documents?

    Can I just add that I have tried this and the link doesn’t seem to be dynamic….

    I believe you can synchronize the master pages by using InDesign’s book feature.
