At first I would introduce this tool,
It's coded with Javascript so you can install it on Mac OS and on Windows. The main file named “Live Snippets Startup.jsx” and you need to copy it to “startup scripts” Application folder. This file has all functions, dialogs and variables and is about 3000 lines but if you need any help email me at “dulajun@gmail.com”.
The other files included in “Live Snippets” folder and count 31 files and each one of them represent a menu command, you need to copy the container folder to “Scripts Panel”.
The tool represented by a menu called “Live Snippets” and it functions on text portions by synchronizing repeated ones after marking them with yellow or white tiny anchored text frames at the beginning and end of each of them. It stores these text portions as snippet files which have the extention “*.idms”.
The previous version of this software was storing the snippet files in folders called “live_snippets” exist beside the documents which created them, and at that time you can not place a live snippet in a document doesn't exist beside the original document. but in this version all snippet files stored in one place which you must set before to embark in using and you can change the data location at any time but you need to move the old snippet files to the new location manualy.
