Links panel not highlighting selected pictures

      InDesign’s links panel has stopped highlighting pictures when I select one on a page. It doesn’t jump to the selected picture either. It does not react at all. I really need this functionality!

      If I click on a picture and then it’s page number it will go to it, so that part is working.

      Is there a preference I might have turned off? I am baffled.
