      HI All
I would like to know if there is any way to limit number of words in a column for the first row and then it continue to second row, as a style (Paragraph style for Header), or just as command. I don’t want to adjust manually the width of the column, I will be happy to learn any suggested idea.

      Thanks

Do you mean set it up so that there’s a new line (or new paragraph?) after X words? Where X is always the same number?
Does this technique leave you at the mercy of unusually long words?

For what purpose? Could you give a bit more context?

Sorry, more questions instead of an answer, but I can’t think of a way to do what you’re describing in a style.
      Chris.

I will give you an example, lets say that I have a table with 10 columns, and each column might be 4-5 words. my question is how can I force wrapping text to take action after 2-3 words. That can be as a style or any other way, but I don’t want to go to each table and manually adjust each column.

      Thanks

      OK, thanks for the info.
Still not sure *why* you’d want to to this – if we understand why, it might point to a completely different solution.
And what happens with unusually long words. Would a combination of characters/words be a better basis for a calculation?

Don’t know how to do it with a style though.
Maybe one of the script gurus will be along in a while to help out.
      Chris.
