Language Setting Switches Between 3 Different Settings

      Hello –

      I am making a template and it is important that the end users can use the spell check feature. However, the Language setting switches between “English: USA”, “English: UK”, and “Spanish” throughout the document, regardless of style or the setting in preferences. This will be quite confusing for the end user when using the spell check

      Is there a way to change the Language setting to “English: USA” for the entire document in one fell swoop, a blanket change?

      I’m not sure how this occurred in the first place. The Preferences Language setting shows “English: USA”, and I’m certain I didn’t fiddle with the setting.

      Let me amend this.

      I have been going through the Paragraph Styles and changing them manually.

      It would be nice to have the ability to override any deviancies to the “English: USA” for this document, past documents, and future documents.

      For past documents and this document you will have to change all of them manually.
      For future documents, open InDesign without open document. Every change (in Preferences, Styles, Colors…) will reflect to all other new documents.
