I have been working on converting a nature guide from CS6 to an epub. No problems I can’t solve putting it into epub, but using the Kindle converter produced a small file with lousy images (and of course for a nature guide the images are paramount). I finally fed it to Kindlegen with -c0, meaning no compression. THAT WORKED, YEA!!! It is now 95MB, or thereabouts, and the pictures look MUCH better. Is there any reason that the KDP won’t accept it because it isn’t compressed? Why would the converter not allow you to set the level of compression?
