Keyboard Shortcut for local Display Performance?

I’m trying to set a keyboard shortcut for Display Performance -> High Quality Display (the one from the contextual menu, for locally setting Display Performance).
I know I can set a keyboard shortcut for the global setting (the one from the View menu -> Display Performance -> High Quality Display), but this is not my aim.
Is it even possible to set keyboard shortcuts for items in the contextual menu?
Or, alternatively, does the local setting override appear anywhere else in the menu system where it IS possible to set a keyboard shortcut?

      Any assistance greatly appreciated!

      Hi Gary,

I wish I had thought of setting up that shortcut ages ago, and you can do it.

You probably got tripped up thinking it should be a View menu item, but it’s the Object menu item(s) you want to make the assignment to, and if you think about it, it makes sense. Whatever shortcut you choose will be listed in the contextual menu afterward. Don’t forget to make a second shortcut to take you back to the original view settings.

      Bob, you are a legend!
That’s exactly what I was looking for – you’ve made my year.

      Many thanks!
      Gary
