Keyboard Shortcut Error

      Somehow my keyboard shortcut for a bold character style is creating the Trademark symbol. I'm not sure how this happened. I also noticed that the default language was set to English UK. How do I fix these things?

      I've tried resetting preferences and that didn't seem to work.

      Also, when I try to modify the character style for a new shortcut it won't let me create a new one. If I try any option or other modifer key it stays blank.

      This is issue has been solved. I was unaware of the difference between the qwerty numbers and the numeric keypad numbers. I recently got a wireless keyboard.
