I'm pretty sure that I've combed through the KBSC list looking for this. I remember what it is in QXP!

I did assign a KBSC to Object > Scale, but most of the time I'd rather eyeball it. I know about “Preview,” but I like not having to deal with a dialog box.

With 1% and 5% up/down KBSC, I can instantly see what an object looks like at 99% then 94% to 95% to 100% to 105% to 106%.

I know that I can drag/resize objects, but “math” helps me design: I can look at something and know that it's 75% of what it was a few minutes ago. If that's a little too small, then I try 80%, etc.

      tks!

Not sure if this helps, but if you click in the scale box in the control panel and then press the up arrow the object will scale by 1%. Holding Shift and up arrow it should scale by 10%. Holding down shift and option will also create a scaled copy.

Wow, if I could get that to work, I'd be in heaven. When I do the routine you describe above, the object acts exactly as it would if I were using the Rectangle tool. (It just moves the object instead of scaling it.)

Do I need any modifier keys to make it work? I think I tried all combos, but hopefully not. Tks!
