javascript to Create Outlines for entire document?

      Hi – anyone have a javascript to convert all text in an Indesign file to outlines? (Type > Create Outline)

      I'm sending a file to a printer for large format output and they need this done to all the text in a 100-page document.

      PITA.

      They apparently cannot rip from a PDF so I make a PDF and they bring it into Illustrator to rip it and when they do that, the text gets messed up unless I outline it first.

      It should be a very simple script – does one thing on the whole doc. For now I will hit page down, select all, and do the keystroke, so it won't take that long but when I get around to learning javascript this would probably be a good one to learn on.

      No script necessary, and you really do NOT want to convert the text to actual outlines. Stuff gets lost.

      However, the phrase “they cannot rip from a PDF” raises huge red flags for me. I would strongly suggest that either they do not know what they're doing or they have such outdated software that it may be cause for alarm.
