    Hey there! I’m just having trouble with some numbered lists. As you can see in this image (https://postimg.org/image/rwbim1p6t), I’d like to italicise the letters inside the parentheses as a numbered list formatting.
    Left: numbered list format (without italics).
    Right: non-numbered list format (italicised).

    Please, if there’s someone who knows how it works, tell me!

    I don’t think there is any way to do this with the automatic list feature.
    One idea comes to mind: perhaps use a font that has italic letters but non-italic parentheses (I don’t know if there is such a font, but you could always make one).

      Thank you, David! I thought so before, but it’s so tricky and complex for such simple formatting tip! ;) I wanted to apply the same numbering style as some books I’ve read, but it seems to be no possible way to do it.

      Albert–They probably didn’t use the automatic feature in your examples.
