Is there a learning curve going from CS6 to CC

The bullet has got to be bitten but I'm anxious about going from CS6 (which I love to bits and never lets me down) on my rather ancient iMac (Mavericks) to downloading CC onto a brand new iMac which runs Mojave. Are they very different? Will I be able to find my way around? And most importantly, will I be able to open over 300 books I've set for a book publisher since 2008 and am still setting new ones; plus all my templates; upgrade Teacup's barcode, Automatication's Multi/Find Change; Indexmatic etc. etc. etc. If anyone has the time and patience, I'd be so grateful for some answers.   Ann, I don’t think you’ll find any problem opening your CS6 files. It’s possible that there will be some text reflow, but it usually isn’t significant. (See link below.)
  But yes, you absolutely will want to update plug-ins and some scripts to new versions.
  As for will you find your way around? I don’t think you’ll have much trouble… the vast majority of the app is the same, though there have been some UI differences. I’d read over the links below to get up to speed.
