Having a problem with InDesignCC crashing. My workflow is to create two versions of a document, one for print and one for epub, since the formatting for each is different. I create the print version first and then copy and paste the text from that into the epub version. Over the last couple weeks, once I have started copying and pasting into the epub file, InDesign crashes and the print version of the file (the original) becomes corrupted. When I try to open it, I get the following message: “Document contains an invalid frame. Story text begins – [figure] Delete frame and associated story?” Whatever I answer, the doc will not open and InDesign will crash. This is not the first time this has happened using this and related parent files, so I have tried export to idml to try to strip out whatever corrupt bits are in there, but it’s still an issue. The only way to solve it that I’ve found has been to rebuild the file entirely, which is tiresome. Thoughts? Using InDesign CC on a windows 7 machine. Thanks!
