Hi. I’ve just designed a 206 page interactive pdf. I’ve sent it out to a number of people and am having a hard time with people trying to use PCs. It seems that sometimes the forms I made are iffy in Acrobat Reader and also browser extensions (Firefox is a problem, Chrome is better but showing transparency and I’m not sure about IE). When the user tries to click in the form field the cursor shows up in varied spots. She can’t just click at the top of the field and start typing (sometimes she has to type outside the field).

I’ve tried going into Acrobat Pro (11) and saving reader extended versions and also tried saving down to older versions in Acrobat (no control of that in InDesign export of Interactive PDF??).

This document is for students at public schools so it needs to work in very varied circumstances with minimal to no support. Ideas much appreciated.

      thanks
      marisa
