    Hello! I regularly need to create indexes for books, often with a massive amount of entries. I wonder if there is any way to assign a hotkey to the “add all” button in the new page reference window? My right arm is suffering from all the mouse clicks and I rather dread indexes because of the lack of an “add all” hotkey. Grateful for help – thanks!

    Adobe hasn’t updated the index feature in a very long time, so I don’t think you can do that. However, there are several other tools for doing indexing with InDesign… mostly scripts that can help.

      Dear Mr Blatner, thank you so much for your quick reply. I can hardly believe I have indexed scriptless all these years. IndexMatic is a marvel and my right arm is saved. B-)
