Hi, I have been playing around with the interactive portion of InDesign CS5 (not 5.5… yet) and I wonder if anyone can help with the following: I'd quite like to be able to use the animation feature to show a 'poster' frame of a product shot, but when clicked on, it becomes an interactive animation allowing the user to click-and-hold for 360º rotation. I have found that placing a SWF of the animation causes it to loop (spin endlessly) when clicked on. Can the animation be made interactive? Perhaps with the controller panel (ie. progress bar, forwards, backwards etc)? I have a Flash file with a controller bar and when its HTML is opened all the interactive elements are there in the browser. Essentially I want that capability in my Indesign doc, to then export to Flash once again.

I'm fairly sure you guys will tell me it can't be done (hopefully not though). If that is the case then how else could I build pages with text etc around an image (like a product catalogue) which can be clicked to become an interactive 360º image, which will then be exported for online use.

Lastly, can any of the above formatting be exported as a fully-embedded stand-alone PDF. Such as that when used locally, all the interactive elements work okay?

      Many thanks in advance.

      Duncan
