Indesign Scripts – How to write.. Where to start.

      Salutations….

      In my working environment, I feel there are much to automate. I guess these can be done by writing InDesign Scripts. If I have to write, where I need to start? What are the softwares I need to install first of all to write the scripts. (Though the scripts can be typed even in Notepad), Is there any standard script writer with help facilities available? Any helps? I need to start from “Hello World”, as I am very new to this.

      I got this idea from the replies of Masood Ahmad and David Blatner. They refer to exact scripts for my needs. My hearty thanks to them.
