      Hi everyone

I’ve discovered a bug in InDesign and I was wondering if anybody knows a workaround for it.

If you scan pages from a book as PDFs and place them in InDesign and then export them to PDF from InDesign, pages that you have slightly skewed to make them more upright appear blurry in the resulting PDF. Any scans that you leave untouched (i.e. you do not turn them any degrees) appear OK – no blurriness.

This blurriness is only when you view the PDFs. If you print them they look OK, but the exported PDFs are for print and for viewing as a PDF on a computer. So the print version is OK but for viewing on the screen some pages look blurry and others not.

Does anybody know what could be causing this? I’ve tried all sorts of PDF settings and compatibility, and have different versions of InDesign from CS4 to CC2017 with the same results.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
