InDesign panels using strange font when selected

      Hi, Since swapping macs, any option that I have selected in any of my InDesign panels changes to a greek looking text. If I unselect and highlight something else, the text looks fine again and the new selection is ‘greeked’. I’m guessing this is due to the bold version of the system font being unavailable or corrupt. Has anyone else had this problem? Any help would be much appreciated.

      I usually blame multiple versions of Helvetica when that sort of thing happens. You haven’t got a very old Helvetica activated in a third-party font manager by any chance?

      Thanks David and Chris for your suggestions. Rebuilding the preferences hasn’t worked so I will investigate Chris’s suggestion tomorrow and let you know.
