hello everyone.. im new to forum, and to INDESIGN also

i have adobe indesign cs6.. i am 1/2 way thru a form.. but am completely locked on how to have a blank text field w/ lines.. so if i print it out theres lines to write on.. and also, if its typed in, the text flows from line to line

      thanks for the help!

I don’t believe there’s a way to have text continue between lines using Form Fields, since they’re really individual text boxes, and don’t behave like typical linked text boxes. You could, however, make one giant text box over the top of all the lines, and turn on the Multi-line option. Not sure you’ll have any options for controlling the leading within the box, so the resulting text may not match up correctly to the InDesign lines.

If you’re also running Acrobat Pro, check out Tomaxxi’s form creation tool:

Amazing and gives you a LOT of control over forms!
