    When I export to epub3 fixed layout it works fine. I open the book in ibooks and it works well. But if I close it on page 9 and later open the book it opens not on page 9 but another page. Is there a way to always let it open on page 1 ?

    It does that on the iPad because Apple wants the reader to keep their place in the book. There should be a visual table of contents on the bottom of the page if the reader wants to get to a different page if you already submitted the book to iBooks through iTunes.
