A co-worker reached out to me to find out why their document pages are light blue and not white. The Master it’s using has nothing on it. When a new master is created, it’s blue too. I tried looking into the preferences, sub menus, and wherever I could think, but wasn’t finding it.

I asked them to move the pages into a new document, and the blue doesn’t come over. Maybe the ‘blue’ file is corrupt or some anomaly… I even tried creating an IDML in hopes that it would flush out some erroneous data, but nope! Nevertheless, by moving the pages to a new document, the crisis has be averted, but really wondering what would cause the ‘blue’ document pages in the first place. If anyone has had it happened and knows why, please share. Thanks

Are all the pages blue? One possibility is that someone accidentally (?!) changed the definition of the Paper color in the Swatches panel:

Ding, ding, ding!! David Blatner, you’ve won the GRAND PRIZE!! Now looking at the file, that’s exactly what someone did. I didn’t think to look there. Thank you so much! I now have a new tip I can provide to my ID user on my company’s Yammer page.
