InDesign CS3 baseline shift moving automatically

      Hi i am not sure if anyone can help but if anyone can it would be great, I have created a text box in InDesign CS3 placed text in it, then added a 1.5mm round edge on the box as well as a 1.5mm stroke (this is a price point in a catalogue). I need to have the text in the box centred i height, so i use the base line shift as the align options are greyed out as soon as you put curved edges on the frame, the issue is when i can get the text in the right spot, the text moves down when close the box up slightly. this doesnt happen in InDesign CS, has anyone come across this before??
