      Hello,
I have a very strange problem with text wraps around image objects. I have set an image object style with text wrap defined as jump object or wrap around bounding box and an offset on all sides except bottom. Then I have an object style for the attached caption defined similar way with offset on all sides except on top. The weird thing is, that the text which sourrounds these “double boxes” does not accept the offsets and creates the offset sometimes larger (around a line height or two), especially at the bottom. The text is not attached to grid, paragraphs can start anywhere, text frame style is [none] and the problem is not connected with keep-text-together options.
I hope, that anybody would know some helpful hint…

You might want to check your Preferences. Under Composition, Text Wrap, if “skip by leading” is checked, try unchecking it and see if that helps.

Thanks, Sarah, it’s much better now, but still about two millimeters of white space at some images should be removed :o) I really did not catch the Adobe’s idea of mixing object and document styles with program preferences… It still looks like the text after the image sometimes starts with leading height, not with the character height.
