      Hi all,

I'm working on a price list that includes a 500+ items, all typeset in ID. Most of the items themselves stay the same from year to year, but the prices change. I would be interested to know if there is a way to write a script that would get the required price information from the Excel sheet in which it is created and return the value in the right text box in ID. My biggest concern is how to identify the various text boxes in the ID file to get the right price to the right box, especially since the order of items in the price list and in the source Excel are different (I don't produce the Excel so I can't affect that).

Any help or nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!!

      Hi Sanna,

They're not scripts, but there are several plug-ins that can do this: DataLinker, InCatalog, Easy Catalog, etc. This link discusses several of them: https://creativepro.com/for…..-autoprice
