importing formatted word doc

      I am a feature film title designer who is now taking on formatting end credits.

      They basically come to me in formatted word or excel documents and I need to

      paste them into indesign and reformat them.

      I can fumble my way through using character styles but I know there are many

      things I could be doing to make my job easier.

      Anyone in Los Angeles that wants to make some extra money tutoring me for a few hours?
