Dear all! My client said that the reflowable mobi file that I sent to her is showing a strange display issue: the full page images are splitting, showing one part on one page and the other on another page.

      This never happened to me.

The images have the following object export configuration:

      Rasterize container
      300 dpi
      baseline
      custom layout – centered
Page break – before and after
      Size: relative to text size

Any thoughts of what is happening?

      Thank you!

      Raphael,

This most likely has to do with the image hight exceeding the screen size. Take a look at your images and see if the height exceeds 800px, as a rule of thumb I tend to shrink all my images to 800px on the longest axis (so landscape images would be at max 800px wide, portrait images would be 800px max tall) to both save file size and keep this from happening. Anyway, make a copy of the originals and try making the images smaller and that should hopefully take care of this. Let me know if that helps (or not)!

      Hi Aaron,

I reduced the image size as you said and in my object style ePUB settings I chose “None” to the size. That’s much better, the images are quite ok when she uses the Kindle vertically, but they adjust to the screen and are “crushed” when she uses the Kindle horizontally.

Any thoughts of what could be happen?

Thanks a lot, I apreciate your expert help.
