I have a need to take my ID file, export it to PDF, and then have certain text frames be movable within the PDF.

I have a vague recollection (maybe hallucinogenic) that this is possible, but I can’t think how to set apart the text frames in ID… something to do with layers, maybe? Or object export settings? (Sorry if I sound naive, just curious if this is possible)

      I’m guessing hallucinogenics. :-) LOL

I don’t know of any way to make the PDF editable like that.

When I start to see things moving around on my computerscreen I know it’s time to take a break! :-)
I’m with David here, never heard of this option.

May be you use acrobat pro and then you went to advanced tools to modify the objet on your page. Its great, because you can use directly acrobat as an editor same as illustrator

      Aha:

Tried it… seems to be working. (Convert text frame to Interactive/Button)…

Just use the Object Selection tool (black arrow) in Acrobat, and voila, move dem elements where you want.
