ID says there are missing fonts in my pdf?

      We routinely use 2D mechanical drawings that have been exported to pdf for inclusion in our manuals. Recently ID has been warning me of missing fonts in the graphic. First of all, there is only one font used in the graphic, and it is neither of the two fonts listed as missing. Is there a way to “Flatten” a pdf so ID sees it as an image and not try to match up fonts?

      Yes. In Acrobat Pro’s Print Production area look for Flattener Preview. There’s an option to convert all text to outlines there.
