Any plug-ins or conversion programs to convert ID CS4 to ID CS2?

We have someone using CS2 that would like to collaborate on a project, but we are on CS4 and they are not able to open our files.

Please note that going back even one version can be dangerous. Two is going to add to that.

While it might be worth going back just to get someone the basic layout and content, this is no way to collaborate. There are new features in CS4 and CS3 that will be lost or badly mangled going back to CS2.

I suggest having the CS2 user upgrade to CS4 in order to make this work smoothly.

      I totally agree, Bob.

I'll tell you what's even worse. When the job was done in InDesign and someone who wants to “collaborate” doesn't have InDesign, but wants the file in Quark!

There are much, much worse things than Quark. I have (well, had) a client who wanted stuff in Publisher, and one whose marketing advisor sent me an entire layout done in PowerPoint, to “make it easier” for me…
