I use indesing cs3 still and i cant afford buying any newer version currently. I have a free magazine that i publish online, to day is the due day for the realse but i ran it to a large problem.

The area where the pictures a meant to be are just black?? i have played with every option i can think of and nothing seems to work. this only happed to day after packaging it and working on it at work. when i exported it at work it did the same thing but i thought maybe the color setting are not correct but now i am at my computer and there is the same problem. does any one have any idea way??

oh by the way after i enbeded all the images in the indesign it seemed to work but now there is xobject errors ??? and not everything shows up.

Can't give you a specific answer except to suggest you re-Place the images and don't embed them. (Embedding images isn't a really good idea, unless you have a very definite reason for doing that. It's so seldom done that I would guess that function has never been thoroughly tested.)

I tried that but it did not work, in the end i got it to work but i had to embed all the images. I think the problem occurred after packaged the files and worked on a different computer, there most have been a problem with the different color setting I guess.

      Thanks for the help anyways!
