      Ciao tutti

I have recently created another ePub, very successfully thanks to you all, but the hyperlinks do not open up a browser on the iPad. They work on my mac in ADE, Kindle Preview and Firefox ePub reader. Any idea why this would happen? On the iPad they appear colored blue as links but do not respond.

On a second note: To Anne Marie, I have found your Lynda.com classes so helpful and empowering as a designer/production artist who can, now, understand HTML and CSS code. Super geeky and loving every minute of it. Using Dreamweaver as my unzipped ePub editor has made it so incredibly easy. I am even now editing the CSS in Dreamweaver as well.

I noted on one video that changes made in Dreamweaver had to be saved, changes lost, rezip and validate the epub….If I am cleaning up say, blank pages that BookBaby hates, I COMMENT them out and then proceed to vlidate. Not losing any of the original code. This may be helpful.

      Mille grazie signori

Michael, thank you for the compliment! I’m thrilled the videos have helped you out.

Great tip about commenting out code … hmmm I don’t remember where in the video that happened, but I’ll use your tip the next time I record it!

      Your welcome.

So any thoughts on why the hyperlinks do not work on the iPad?
