Does anyone have nifty suggestions on how to use the Touch Bar with Indesign?

I just started working on a MacBook Pro, apart from my iMac. I miss my numeric keys on the side already, especially when it comes to shortcutting for my paragraph/character styles. I’ve been using the same keys and structure in my documents for years, but on this new MacBook Pro I have to rethink my habits if I want to switch between workstations. Can we hack the Touch Bar? Or do I need to accept the change, CMD-0 will now be CMD-à. Should I switch to the Fn-keys instead?
How do you cope with these issues?

      Thanks?

I bought a Bluetooth keyboard with numeric keys and a riser for the MacBook Pro. And even beyond the numerics, I like my Mac being up higher anyway, and the keyboard connects to three devices, so I can switch between Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
