Hi, I need a hand to accomplish this, it must be a GREP but I didn't succeed to do it by myself: I have to search the word “yes” preceded by a tab, and replace “yes” by a checkmark (Windings character 0xFC, or is it possible to replace it with an image?) while keeping the tab.

Thank you in advance for your help.

You can probably do this in the normal Text tab (not grep). Just search for ^tyes and replace it with ^C

What is ^C? It means “replace with whatever is on the clipboard.” So before you do this find/change, select whatever you want it to look like and copy it to the clipboard (including images).

Thank you David for your quick reply, in the meanwhile I finally managed to find this grep too:

      • Find: tyes
      • Change to: txFC
      • Find format: (my paragraph style)
      • Change format: +Wingdings

I wonder if there is a way to apply this automatically, like we do with grep styles?

I mean, I need this to be done on files resulting from a data merge, and I am talking about 100+ files…

GREP Styles cannot change text, but you can sort of fake it with a special font. See this blog post: https://creativepro.com/ins…..styles.php
